Public Mutual Unit Trust Consultant

Public Mutual Berhad is an investment company, which deals with unit trust management. It is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Public Bank Group. This company has been established since 1975 and has been Malaysia No.1 performing Unit Trust Manager for 8 consecutive years.

Public Mutual Unit Trust Consultant is to educate the public on the importance of having to invest in unit trust and selling unit trust.

As to become a Unit Trust Consultant (UTC), candidates must fulfill the following requirements;

a. Candidates must be of 25 years of age and above.
b. Candidates must possess a minimum qualification of SPM with a credit in either Bahasa Malaysia or English or Mandarin + a credit in Mathematics (Modern Mathematics)
c. Candidates must be a working adult.

If you meet all of the industry requirements, you will undergo a series of training known as UTC Basic Training that comes in 4 seperate modules. These modules are designated for candidates who has very little knowledge on both investment as well as finance industry.

Module 1 - Fundamentals of Unit Trust
Module 2 - Sales Pitch
Module 3 - Sales Pitch (Practical)
Module 4 - Objection Handling

REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in any related studies. (SPM holder with experienced in channel sales in PC distribution will considered too)
- 2-4 years of working experience in PC distribution, exp in notebook distribution is an advantage.
- Good knowledge in IT Hardware is an added advantage.

- attend to Channel Sales and service dealer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Self-driven to plan, strategize and execute all sales activities
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
- Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
- Able to generate reports and make good summary
- Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues
- Self-motivated and result orientated

SALARY RANGE: RM3000-RM3500(basic) + Transport allowance + quarterly incentive

Vacant Position : Field Force Team Leader (KL)



Responsibilities:

As a Field Force Team Leader your job scope includes but is not limited to:
• Develop an effective call cycle plan for the team.
• Ensuring complete and on-time execution of the team’s call cycle.
• To monitor and score the team’s performance based on performance/KPIs.
• To motivate and coach the team towards the company’s objectives.
• Consolidate and report market intelligence.
• Consolidate and analyze weekly issues gathered by the team.
• To build a highly efficient team.
• To function as a role model to the rest of the team.


Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
• High School qualification with a good track record of working experience for 4 to 5 years.
• Previous working experience in sales, distribution and / or merchandising preferably in mobile phones or a consumer durable company emphasizing on retail presence.
• Territorial familiarity in terms of geography of assigned territories.
• Experience in managing and supervising a team.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent command of English and competent in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fluent command of spoken Chinese is a strong advantage.
• Willing to travel within assigned territory.
• Affinity and passion for technology.
• Valid driving license and possess own car.
